Waterflowercolors

My interest in nature — especially in botany and geology — is deeply embedded in my artistic practice. Watercolor, as a mobile and demanding medium that allows little correction, has become my primary mode of expression. The plants I depict, rendered with botanical precision, are drawn from my own garden and observed directly from life, using Schmincke Horadam paints on 100% cotton Aquarella paper.
